Do not install Microsoft Vista

Do not install Microsoft Vista unless you know what you are going agaisnt.
I did and it looked OK at the begining. But when later on I inserted a DVD of Bratz for my kid in the computer, Vista blocked it from playing although I purchased the DVD in a store legaly. It says that it is copyrighted material and as a result cannot allow it to play, unless I update my video card or the monitor to be DRM compatibe. My first reaction was - "What the hell".
Now because the computer I am talking about is a Thinkpad laptop, that means that I have to purchase a new laptop, because it costs less than changing the Thinkpad videocard and monitor I think.

So I decided to stay with XP, because I cannot afford to buy a new computer with characteristics that Microsoft want me to. I used to be a Microsoft fan all the way from the begining of Microsoft empire, but this is too much I think. I enjoy using my computer the way I like to use it, not the way Microsoft and Hollywood want me to use it. I dont think its right for them to force such things and push consumers to do as they please. I dont work for Microsoft, nor I work for Hollywood. And neither do you. That's it. End of the story. If you do not believe me try it for yourself and let me know if you come up with a different conclusion.
